| Sam
Joy is the author of And From the Ashes,
an action packed thriller that reveals the history,
symbolism and mysticism of the Great Seal of the United
States.
Sam
married in his fourth year of college. He left college
in Pueblo and moved to Sun City Arizona to become
a golf professional. There he met a man who became
a friend and convinced him to go back to school and
finish his education. Sam is a graduate of Arizona
State University in Tempe. While finishing his degree
he worked in a management program with a local grocery
store chain. After his first marriage failed, Sam
remarried and moved to Mesa, Arizona. First trying
his hand in real estate, he finally landed a route
sales job with a local bakery. In 1978 while being
a breadman he had a dream that changed
his life forever and launched his writing career.
But a series on unfortunate events was about to turn
his life upside down. In 1987 Sams second marriage
failed. This along with his house burning down a few
months before, Sam had no alternative but to declare
bankruptcy.
Long
before the events of September 11, Sam dreamt
of a group of terrorists destroying America by destroying
her ability to produce electricity. After sharing
his story with co-workers he was encouraged to write
a book. With just an eighth grade typing class under
his belt and a less than stellar English grade average,
Sam dismissed the idea until a friend that had been
published sat him in front of an old Smith-Corona
typewriter and told him to write what he had seen.
And From the Ashes was born.
Sam currently lives in
Sedona, Arizona where he golfs, drives a limousine
and writes.
